upcycled

Cheap notebooks have a lot of potential... take this one... made a new cover from a cereal box and chinese paper... plus a bit of paint... plus a pendant I made years ago with an old coke can and some copper nails... by the way... if you make jewelry, never mix copper with aluminum... if it gets wet, a chemical reaction occurs and somehow the copper "eats" the aluminum...

Hmmmm...you've given me some ideas to work on for a Halloween theme in my room at the antique shop...now to work some skulls and bones into the theme...oh and those teeth I've been scheming on, wouldn't they make great latches to wrap your journals with...hmmmm...thanks for the jump start!!!

Thanks for the tip about the copper and aluminum. I'll have to remember that. Love the notebook!

Thank you, Steph, I didn't know about the copper-aluminium thing (never tried to mix them up, though)!
The notebook is really cool! What are you going to do with it?!
