arkansan voodoo

While in Arkansas, I said to Bobbi, I'd make her a "voodoo" necklace as a thank you.. So she gave me elements that had a meaning to her to put on the necklace ( the amonite, the red bird, the agate slice, the lizard, a shark tooth, a crystal bead, one of Jay's faces, a Mexican coin)... I went back with them... mixed them with some other elements. The voodoo bird flew to Arkansas watching over Bobbi's necklace...

Some stuff will be flying soon to Tennessee and Chicago...

What a great gift to have you make her a necklace with such meaningful things. I like the way you made it so that she will be able to add to it as she wants.

Bobbi has yet to see it, but I know she'll be thrilled with it when she returns on Wednesday. You're a sweetheart, Steph, for bestowing your magical creations upon us. Thanks so much.

Steph - got back from my 34-day stint in Memphis and found my wonderful necklace waiting for me. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. You are so talented!! It's amazing how you can balance all these different things and come up with such a great piece. I really like the coin you added and the "Be,"and the "Hope" and the "Write." And the cat and the fish - well, everything. Have a little package that will be comin your way ... sometime. Swamped with the July pub. I miss you. All our love. Bobbi
