Spoiled ... again ...

Yes... again ... Sherry spoiled me with this beautiful scarf and card ( this scarf is as soft as the one Lindsay sent me) ... now ( as Sherry said) with these two scarves it won'tbe a problem to keep warm ! Thanks so much Sherry ! By the way ... check her etsy store and also Lindsay's !

And yesterday , I received a package from Lucinda ... A gorgeous vintage tin with the most awsome glass beads I've ever had ( plus a mexican voodoo pendant). Many many thanks to you Lucinda !Click on the pictures to see the full scale. And also please, check her stores too : belvedere beads and curious old things.

Last weekend I made some polymer clay pendants, here's one:

Thank you all for all the previous comments and birthday wishes! Merci beaucoup!

New Year...

Today is my new year ..
And this week Lucie from Bijoux écLeCtiQuEs sent me a surprise ... The beads are gorgeous ( the little bone bird is going to join my ever changing voodoo necklace) and the sweets seem yummy ( yes I've been a good girl and saved them till today ...).
Thank you Lucie , merci, merci, merci ! ( j'ai l'intention de me venger très bientôt !).

An Award and a surprise !

So, Andee from andeesigns awarded my blog with the Proximidade award. Thanks Andee!

Here's the deal :

Proximidade is described as follows:'This blog invests and believes in PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships. These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes for self-aggrandizement! Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers!'The rules are: This blog award should be sent to your favorite eight bloggers and they, in turn should forward to eight of their favorites. You should include the text for Proximidade (above) in your announcement blog.

So, now I have to choose eight blogs ( but this doesn't mean the other links on the right aren't worth a visit!):

Terres de Brumes

Stillwaters Studio

L'oeil de Pat de Verre

Karen Cole

Bijoux Eclectiques

Ro Bruhn Art

Serendipity

Talking about Serendipity ... Lindsay sent me a gorgeous scarf among others things ...It's warm, it's soft and I won't leave the house without it until Spring!

Surprises

Bérilune from Terres de Brumes sent me this lovely keyring plus some beads.

I sent her the copper fibula and some beads ( these you can see on her blog).

Bérilune de Terres de Brumes m'a envoyé ce charmant porte-clé et des perles.

Je lui ai envoyé une fibule et quelques perles ( allez faire un tour sur son blog pour les voir!).

I also received a surprise from Lindsay and an award from Andee but I'll write a post about these tomorrow ...

Oh and the gentlemen are happy with what I made for their ladies ... now I hope the latters will be happy too!

Commissions

So ... Valentine's day is next month and I'm working on some commissions.

Some colleagues asked me ( when they heard I make jewelry ) to make gifts for their wives.

The ring on the top left is similar to one I made last year. It's pmc.

The ring and pendant are made of silver spoons and pmc ( the spoons were given by one of the colleagues "do whatever wearable you want with them" ...).

I will show them this week ... and yes of course they couldn't give me the ring sizes... so might have to alter them a bit after Valentine's day ... hmmm ... men!
