Road Block Unblocked.... kind of

What to do when you are facing a wall... Make something that is more technical than creative... So I reached for my copy of Joanna Gollberg"s Making Metal Jewelry and chose a project. Of course I couldn't help making my own design, the cuff in the book had some geometric shapes cut out... I went for snakes

Then I had all these little snakes left and I decided to make some earrings.

And also, jewelry books are like cook books ... don't trust the measurements .. believe me, I followed the instructions and knew I was cutting too many links ... so I made this pendant, and obviously I haven't been making rivets for a long time, these are not even ... The design of the necklace was kind of inspired by Sherry and she gave me the beads a long time ago.

We had some rain at last... it's been so hot here and by what I read it will be hot again... I know I should not but I long for sweaters and jeans and boots ... Hope you're enjoying the summer!

Clever Girl!! Not only your own design...but recycling that does not look like recycling...looks like you planned it all!

Winter is my favorite time of the year, followed by autumn as a close second!

Me too, I'm not a summer gal. I love Autumn best and can't wait for it to come around as a reprieve from the heat and humidity we get in England.
Nice work, I like this departure into metal.
Those bird photos were amazingly sharp and detailed. How about some brd inspired jewellery next.

You did a great job with the links! It was cool that you could also use what you cut out for another project.
Saving small animals from the cats seems to be one of my pass times too.
