drillin'

I would never have dared drilling stones and sea glass if Lisa from GreenStudio hadn't encouraged me to do so... and thanks to her... now I have a new addiction...  been hunting in my jars and drawers for stuff to drill... the sea glass is from Spain, a dear friend gave it to me a few years ago, stones I have no idea where I picked them up... except for the white-ish one.. a gift from Alek...
Made two summer necklaces for myself... Spanish sea glass for one, pink quartz (did not drill that one) and a stone I picked today on my 5 miles walk for the other...
Love the green of May... my favorite time of the year...

Gayle made a gorgeous prayer flag... check it out!

These are great! You'll be "eyes on the ground" now for sure. I am really liking the one with pink quartz.
Is that your garden? It looks so peaceful!

(and thanks for the shoutout, by the way)xxxx

I love the drilled sea glass! I would love to drill some of my stash too. You'll have to let me know where you found the drill bits.
Your yard reminds me of Tennessee this time of year...an abundance of green.

My mannequin is wearing a big, bold strand of drilled pebbles, sea glass, sea shells and other things right now, all drilled within a week or so some time ago. My fingers were constantly wrinkled like a very old apple at that time :)
The drilling obsession led me over carving sea shells to carving goose eggs :D Not the artistical kind of carving Tracy does. Only holes, translucent spots and lines and such. Reminds me on war paint. Don't ask me what I am going to do with them. I just couldn't stop carving/drilling.
Love your summer necklaces!!! Why is it so, that we turn to simple things when the sun has come back to us?!
